I finished the Get The Edge Cds and really learned a ton of stuff. Tony Robbins is a great success coach and I am beginning the CD set again because there is stuff I missed.
This guy offers a ton of information and it takes me time to absorb it. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for something more out of life.
The three greatest gifts I have received from this program:
- Anything can be accomplished once you have a greater purpose for doing it.
- Very few negative human traits can be practiced when you are truly grateful and focused on gratitude.
- Although I cannot control life or what people do or say, I solely control what things mean to me. I solely control how it affects me. I solely control what I do or think or say.
God knows, that was the best money I have spent in a really long time.
So… how is my training going?
My right shoulder is really injured. It has been 3 months and the pain is getting worse. I have been putting off seeing a doctor (not a good idea) but I know what he is gonna say…. and I am trying every other avenue first. I really think it is a cooked rotator and that may mean surgery.
I cannot do any pressing movements (even light weight hurts) I have been hitting arms and legs alot. :-)
On another note, I really love my elliptical trainer. It is really convenient to take a break from work and jump on it for 20 minutes throughout the day. I think better too.
Well…. Gotta get back to work!

So… my mom called me this morning wondering why my journal hasn’t been updated in a while. I guess somebody reads this thing after all… :-)
I just bought a new elliptical trainer for my home. I am completely pumped about this! As you know I have been completely immersed in “Get The Edge” and one of the building blocks of this awesome program is the Hour of Power. For anyone that hasn’t listened to Tony Robbins, this is an amount of time you devote to juicing up for the day. It is done first thing in the AM, preferably doing some form of cardio.
I have seen a some major changes in my life since I started applying this stuff… and my best days are the ones that start with my hour of power.
With any success, there are obstacles and mine start the minute I set foot out of bed. I hate mornings… I am completely a night person.. so talking myself out of walking 2 flights of stairs, through a cold garage into the cold basement and jumping on a treadmill first thing is pretty easy :-)
I have been wanting to buy an elliptical trainer for some time and I knew that this was a great way to overcome the obstacle. I would roll out of bed, into my shoes and climb on the elliptical. I love it.
Honestly, I have always thought Tony Robbins was a nut job. Boy, was I wrong. I have been wanting to take my life, business and relationships to another level for a very long time. I have been burnt so many times that I just about gave up. I am so grateful I gave this a chance.
I would recommend it to anyone that is looking to make some lasting changes. It is awesome.

Hi everyone!!
Day 3 of “Get The Edge” and I am so totally pumped about this program! Tony Robbins is an awesome ‘success’ coach. I feel like a sponge… this is possibly the the best investment I have every made.
What I have realized (so far…) is the power of gratitude, the power of truly being grateful. Just by making a couple changes in how I start my day, I believe that I have experienced the beginning of something life changing. I cannot wait until tomorrow!!
Today was a rest day. Aside from my AM cardio, I took the day off from the iron.
Night !!!
